    AFTER THE SURGERY

  • For most surgeries your pet needs to be very well rested for 10 to 14 days after the procedure.
  • You might need to confine your pet to a small room or keep him or her in a kennel for that period.
  • Your pet needs to be away from other pets.
  • You can take your pet outside for very short and slow walks, preferably only to the bathroom and back to the house.
  • Make sure to walk your pet with a leash.
  • Running, jumping, fetching, playing with the ball or chasing other pets should be avoided.
  • Your pet should not lick the incision area. We suggest to use E-Collar for at least 10 to 14 days after the procedure. During this time, the E-Collar needs to be placed around your pet’s neck all day.
  • For most of the procedures you can feed your pet at the same evening.

Please note: Payment for the procedure is due at the time of surgery pick-up.
